Nokia’s 3 Android Phones Launched- Nokia X (Normandy) , X+ and XL

Nokia-Normandy-Android-X-X+ and XL

You heard it right folks! Nokia has finally revealed it Android Phones ! The Nokia X ( Rumored as Normandy) Nokia X+, Nokia XL!  Nokia blasted out with its Android phones in the Mobile World Congress 2014 (MWC) held in Barcelona.

If i’m right, most of you weren’t aware about this news while some others didn’t even know about the MWC , anyways lets get on to the topic.

Well, this runs on a new kind of platform which is a combination of Windows, Asha and Android.Namely Nokia X Platform. This completely looks like Windows as it contains the “Tiles” kind of look in the Windows Phone and has got the Fastlane which was first featured in the Nokia Asha 501.It is the new Droid phone ,only because it can run all of your favorite android apps.

Its really disappointing that it doesn’t give a pure Android experience but still the main feature is that it can run all the android apps, so i probably think that you can install the “Google Home” to get the Kitkat Experience! According to the recent news,it runs Android 4.1 as its base and has interface that looks like Windows.

It surely does a great job in providing a mixture of Android and the WP experience ,but its not made for the hardcore android fans.Nokia X comes in various variants- in Yellow, Black, White and Red and has a layout similar to the Lumia series. Though it runs on Android,it comes with all the services and apps included in the Windows Phones.

With AOSP we benefit from the Android app ecosystem, but we’ve added our own differentiated experience.” ~Stephen Elop

Take a look at its Specifications of Nokia X –

Its estimated price of Nokia X is 89 Euros while the Nokia X+ would cost 99 Euros and will be made available at the start of the second quarter of 2014.There hasn’t been any news about the Nokia XL except for the two things- Its packed with a 5 inch screen and a 5MP camera with Flash.

The Users will be offered with free Skye Calls for one month and its said that all the Microsoft’s apps would be pre-loaded in this phone. Its also said that you will be able to download Android Apps from the Nokia store and its capable of installing apps from the Third Party store too. It looks cool and funky, just like the Lumia an Asha phones, if you are a person wanting to run Android Apps on a windows kind of phone, this is made for you!
